Arsenal have confirmed via AFCi that our date with destiny has been confirmed, and our Carabao Cup clash with Bolton will go ahead on Wednesday, September 25th.

The game will be shown on Sky Sports+ and boasts an exciting 7:45pm kick off time on the red button.

With a busy week previously happening ahead of the game aforementioned, it remains to be seen how many players we’ll actually have left to choose from as the campaign against Arsenal gathers pace.

You may remember Declan Rice was sent off and will miss our next game following the pointless international break. We reluctantly visit White Hart Lane, always a scene of refereeing debacles and travesties against us to ensure we never win anything again.

We then travel all the way to Atalanta in the Champions League to wear us out fully before we get cheated out of all three points at Man City (our third away game in 7 days). Also worth mentioning that Man City play at home all three match days that we’re away so definitely nothing to see here. Also, we are away twice and they are at home twice before our home game with them next year…

Anyway, we are looking to win the League Cup for the first time since we won the domestic cup double in 1993 just as football was starting to become shit and pointless.

Our last run out in the league cup, we had an awful night at West Ham, running out 3-1 losers on the night, the only moment of cheer being Martin Odegaard’s late consolation goal in the 96th minute.

Oh, and ArsenalShorts is back. For one day only most probably.
