Jack Wilshere has joined Danish club Aarhus after a spell training with Arsenal, having not been offered a new deal to rejoin Arsenal.

Wilshere has been without a club since playing 17 times for Bournemouth last season and has been training with Italian club Como, and since then, with his beloved Arsenal. A move to Como was a no-no as he didn’t have the appropriate passport and paperwork.

Arsenal 2-1 Brentford, a tidy home win.

He’s now signed for the Danish club until the end of the season, with the option to sign on for next season as well, and Wilshere said:

“I’m at a point in my career where I need to start over after a difficult period and that opportunity has been given to me by Aarhus. Since I started training with Arsenal, I never hid the fact that I was ready for 2022 and for a new club, I am very grateful and I will do my best to live up to the expectations…”

Good luck Jack to everyone at ArsenalShorts (i.e. me).
