As we head to Molineux this evening for an absolute potato skin of a game, it looks like we’ll be without Tomiyasu, as exclusively predicted by ArsenalShorts earlier in the week.

Tomiyasu has been struggling with a calf injury and as thought (by me) the Wolves game has come around just too soon for the Japanish right back.

Cedric takes his place alongside Gabriel, Tierney and Ben White in front of Aaron Ramsdale.

Our red card wizards Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka take to the field together in the centre of midfield, and Saka, Martinelli, Odegaard and Lacazette lead the forward line.

There’s no place for Pepe who has returned from the AFCON in fine form and there’s a shock place on the bench for Awe. Zach Awe was born in 2004, surely the start of a song there somewhere.

Arsenal Starting XI:
Ramsdale, Cedric, White, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Lacazette

Subs:
Okonkwo, Smith Rowe, Holding, Pepe, Tavares, Lokonga, Elneny, Nketiah, Awe.
