Super Jack Wilshere was offered to French club Lille in January by his agent. The French side asked for a short term deal with a trial period but then signed Hatem Ben Arfa instead ending any move for Wilshere. There was also other interest from Greece, Italy and a few Championship sides for him but he’s still without a club.
Jack has also revealed he would love to sign for Arsenal again but Arteta has revealed that he’s not part of his current plan:
“He won’t join us, I think it is a great compliment for Jack that the players playing alongside him think so highly of him. He is doing really well, better and better, and we know the qualities Jack has…”
Ray Parlour thinks an Arsenal move for Jack would be a good thing:
“He’s training with them every day now. I don’t think he’d be used if I’m being honest, but if there was a massive injury crisis, you never know in football what can happen. You could get two or three midfield players injured…”
Jack was part of the travelling party just back from Dubai and continues to train with the club while he searches for a new club.
