Pablo Mari completed his loan move to Udinese this week. The Spanish centre back hasn’t featured much for Arsenal and it’s thought that he forced the move to try and get some playing minutes.
With Ben White and Gabriel forging quite the partnership at the back, 28-year-old Mari found himself dropping down the pecking order and has only played three times for Mikel Arteta.
It’s thought that Udinese don’t have the option of a permanent transfer at the end of the loan deal which lasts until the end of the season but you’d assume the Spaniard has played his last game for the club.
Yellow card investigation underway…
Mari joins Ainsley Maitland-Niles (Roma) Sead Kolasinac (Marseille), Folarin Balogun (Middlesbrough) as our departures this week, which surely means we have some players coming in before the end of the January window.
