Following our semi-final exit at the hands of Liverpool on Thursday, it’s back to Premier League action as we host Burnley at The Emirates this Sunday, KO 2pm.

Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka are both suspended for the game, following their red cards against Liverpool in each of the League Cup semi-finals. Pepe and Elneny are still at the AFCON and it’s thought that Cedric Soares and Calum Chambers will both miss the game.

Burnley have 16 first-team players available but the Burnley Bugle reckons the game will definitely go ahead (as of Friday afternoon).

We need to hope this season’s game goes better than last year’s corresponding fixture which we lost 0-1. You may remember it because Aubameyang scored an OG from a Burnley corner and guess what… Granit Xhaka was sent off for a change. It bought to an end a nine-game winning streak against Burnley at The Emirates, so fingers crossed we can start a new one.

The game isn’t on Sky, BT Sport or Amazon Prime, so you’ll have to use other legal resources to watch it.

Next up for Arsenal is a tricky visit to a bit of a bogey side for us, with a trip to Molineux to face Wolves on Thursday the 10th of February – live on BT Sport.

Oh … and Burnley haven’t won an away game this season…
