Our game against the 1961 Division One League Champions was sensationally called off this weekend, leaving a river of tears flowing the wrong way down the Seven Sisters Road. Tottenham fans, players and the club itself took to all forms of social media platforms to spread their total disgust at the move by Arsenal to get the game rescheduled.
It was later revealed that we had just ONE Covid case, thought to be Martin Odegaard, but with Xhaka being suspended after his red card against Liverpool, we didn’t have enough players to fulfil the fixture, leaving Tottenham fans rattled.
The underachieving vermin, who last won a. decent trophy in 1991, see themselves inexplicably, as a big club, yet they released the most unprofessional, childish official club statement in opposition to our request, and the FA’s consequent acceptance.
The Tottenham orc army on Twitter also cited our recent loaning of both Ainsley Maitland-Niles to Roma, and Falorin Balogun to Middlesbrough and were hilariously suggesting we should have flown players back from the AFCON to play in the game.
Tottenham themselves have requested three games to be postponed due to COVID this season, one at Leicester, one at Brighton and one in the Europa Tinpot league, a competition they were subsequently kicked out of for calling off the game. They allowed their opponents Rennes, to fly over from France and cancelled it while they were in mid-air, something which obviously angered the French side.
The Arsenal request led to Jamie Carragher mocking the request, despite his beloved Liverpool having lied about their own situation to get the first leg of our League Cup semi-final moved the week before. Gary Neville stuck the boot in, along with countless biased anti-Arsenal ‘journalists’ also taking to social media to join in with the hypocrisy, conveniently forgetting to mention Liverpool’s blatant cheating antics or the other 21 Premier League games which had also been called off.
The Tottenham game will now be rescheduled to a new midweek date, where they will have their best player and 2nd biggest cheat Son back, along with the hapless Eric Dier.
We could welcome back Tomiyasu, Odegaard, Aubameyang, Pepe, Mohamed Elneny, Partey, Saka, Xhaka, Smith-Rowe, Chambers, Tierney for the game, so I really can’t see what all the fuss is about…
*Not counted.
