The Ornstein Oracle has announced that Aubameyang and Lacazette are both out of the game at Brentford tonight in a huge blow. Eddie Nketiah is also out of the game meaning that Falorin Balogun and Olympic Gold Medal winning Gabriel Martinelli have a chance of making an early impression on the season.
Thomas Partey is also out of the game, and probably won’t appear until September after picking up an injury in our friendly with Chelsea. Meanwhile at the back Gabriel has a knee problem which means he’ll also be missing.
🚨 Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang + fellow striker Alexandre Lacazette are both unwell & therefore will not be available for their side’s opening game of the new Premier League season at Brentford tonight @TheAthleticUK #AFC #BrentfordFC #BREARS https://t.co/RFFL2fWNPH

Brentford may have issues of their own, with striker Ivan Toney who missed their last pre-season friendly with a neck problem may not recover in time for the clash.
The game kicks off at 8pm tonight, and will be live on Sky Sports.
