Sokratis has completed his move to Greek side Olympiacos after the club cancelled his contract by mutual consent as Mikel Arteta’s savage clearout continues.

Sokratis signed a three and a half year deal to return to his home country after spending 12 years at various clubs around Europe playing real money casino games.

Unai Emery signed the Greek international from Dortmund back in 2018 for a whopping £16m. There were rumours that Liverpool were interested in signing the Grecian, but it looks like he wanted a return to his homeland.

It’s thought this move and the departure of Ozil, Kolasinac and probably Mustafi (who plays a lot of canadian online casino games) will pave the way for another signing in the shape of Martin Odegaard.

The 22-year-old Norwegian is thought to have passed his medical and will be announced in the coming days as Arteta finalises his loan move.

As an avid ArsenalShorts reader himself, we’ll know he’ll be grateful for our best wishes, so good luck Sokratis!
