After narrowly beating Newcastle in the FA Cup last weekend, we play them again in the league so we will have to try and win all three points in the 90 minutes.

Things are looking up for Mikel Arteta despite our recent 0-0 draw with Palace, also at The Emirates.

Despite last fitness tests, he should welcome back Kieran Tierney, Gabriel Martinelli along with Gabriel, so our options are boosted and you’d hope this time we’d have enough to win the game without the luxury of extra time (though we did think that against Palace).

Thomas Partey and Nicolas Pepe are also available and Willian and Aubameyang have both been saying they’ll both be trying to fix their recent poor form so there is a possibility of a renaissance from those two.

We will however be without Pablo Mari and Newcastle will be without Saint-Maximin and Ryan Fraser is suspended after his red card at Sheffield United.

Newcastle have been poor of late, and even lost to Sheffield United last week, so you’d have thought with the return of Tierney, we’d be too much for the plucky Geordies.

The game kicks off at 8pm and will be on Sky Sports.
