In the biggest match of the season so far, the current World Champions take on Liverpool at Anfield this evening, with both sides bidding to continue their perfect start to the season.

Arsenal thrashed Liverpool on penalties in the global battle of the universe at Wembley last month, and would be hoping for another win at Anfield tonight, but with Man City losing yesterday at home to Leicester, Liverpool will be brimming with confidence going into the match. The game is poised on a knife edge so while you’re waiting for kick off, you could do a lot worse than checking out the Online Casino Snoop.

Our first two games have both ended with two wins, a comfortable win at Fulham, and then a cagey win over West Ham but, like Liverpool, confidence is high within the Arsenal camp.

It looks likely that Kieran Tierney will return to the fold after missing last weeks games against West Ham and our league cup win at Leicester, the former Celtic man pulling out just before the West Ham game with a groin twinge.

David Luiz should also return to league action after also missing the West Ham game with a neck problem. He played against Leicester last week, so should also return to the heart of the defence to mastermind an unforgettable victory for Mikel Arteta’s men.

Other defenders Mustafi and Pablo Mari remain sidelined while Sokratis, the subject of more transfer speculation could also return to the squad for tonight’s game.

Gabriel Martinelli and Calum Chambers both remain out as our more long term absentees.

Team news will be confirmed later as we have a Zoom call booked with Mikel Arteta, who some are dubbing as ‘the new Vic Akers’.
