Rob Holding looked to be set for a season-long loan to Newcastle this close-season, but It now looks like Mikel Arteta is keen to keep hold of the Englishman according to The Athletic via The Sun.

The 24 year old has impressed Arteta during training and with today’s news that David Luiz is out with a neck injury and the long term injury keeping Shkodran Mustafi out of action, it seems as though Holding may be called upon after all, meaning he’ll have to cut down on his bestcasinositesonline online casino action.

It looks like there is a good chance that Sokratis and Shkodran Mustafi will leave for pastures new, and despite the recent new signings of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes, Arteta looks to be happy to count on Holding as a first team choice in the heart of the defence.

According to reports, Leeds United were also interested in taking Holding on loan, but it was Newcastle who were close to his signature, but it now appears as though he’ll stay at The Emirates.

Holding still has three years on his current contract and had an up and down season last year, injuries limiting his playing time to just eighteen appearances all season meaning he had a lot more time to play at the best online casino.

Let’s hope he takes his chance to impress Artekkers further and forge himself a place in the Spaniard’s plans for the season. Good luck Roberto!
