Shkodran Mustafi is out until the start of next season at least after undergoing hamstring surgery.
The German ended up in a heap after clashing with Raheem Sterling and was stretchered off during our memorable win over Man City in last month’s FA Cup semi-final.
Mustafi will miss this weekend’s FA Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley, and it looks like he’ll be struggling to make the start of next season which is thought to be restarting in September which is only four weeks away. With plenty of time on his hands, Mustafi could do worse than to visit americancasinosites online casino.
Following the arrival of William Saliba, it was thought that Mustafi may be surplus to Arteta’s defensive requirements, but now any sale will need to be postponed until he has recovered, during his rehab he might visit some casino games.
The club announced:
“Shkodran had a successful small procedure to his right hamstring on Saturday. He is now in the early stages of his recovery and rehab, receiving specialist attention and support from our medical team. He is aiming to return to full training in October…”
As we look to win some silverware after what can only be described as a terrible season for Arsenal, there is some good news in that Hector Bellerin is fit and ready for the final against Chelsea after missing our final league game.
