Hot on the heels of the news that Arsenal are due to play Man City in under two weeks, there’s now a few bits of injury news coming through the newswires (whatever they might be).

Football.London reckon that left-backs Kieran Tierney and Sead Kolasniac are now 100% fit and raring to go. It also seems as though Lucas Torreira should also have shaken off his foot injury, so the only omission from the squad now will be Calum Chambers.

I’m sure other teams are in the same boat with players having plenty of time on their hands to find their fitness during the enforced mid-season Coronavirus outbreak break (EMSCOB). We also in the enviable position of being unbeaten in the league this calendar year and also having no suspensions to deal with as the season looks to restart.

Man City may be distracted over the next week or two as their appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport is due to start on the 8th of June.

They will be hoping to overturn their two year back from the Champions League handed out for some serious breaches of the FFP regulations. If upheld, the ban could benefit us as we could finish 5th and still qualify for the competition should things go ahead next season.

It’s been confirmed that our season will restart in a couple of weeks with the nice easy trip to Man City away to kick things off and get our game in hand played.
