Kieran Tierney and Cedric Soares are nearing a comeback according to Mikel Arteta this morning. He has said they could even be available for Monday night’s visit to Fratton Park in the FA Cup. They are both set to return to full training this week, Tierney recovering from a shoulder injury while Soares has been working hard in the gym to get back from a knee injury he already had when he signed from Southampton last month.

Kolasinac Latest
There is a small chance that Sead Kolasinac won’t play again this season, Arteta has given an update, but the club should be able to confirm later today whether or not the Bosnian’s shoulder was dislocated:

“He is seeing the specialist today and we will know more this afternoon, but yes, he was in pain, it’s a difficult area and we are not very positive about it. Hopefully, yes he will play again this season, but I don’t know. It’s depending on whether he’s dislocated it and if he needs surgery or not…”

He landed awkwardly after challenging for a high ball during our 3-2 win over Everton on Sunday and a dislocation looked the most likely of outcomes, however it seems as though this is not the case. As a result he will definitely miss tomorrow’s game with Olympiacos at The Emirates in the Europa League, with ‘man of the moment’; Bukayo Saka, a shoe in to replace him.

We are currently 1-0 up after a memorable win in Greece last Thursday night, courtesy of a late goal by Alexandre Lacazette.
