The Arsenal medical team have given an update on our walking wounded, and it looks like we finally have some good news as we prepare to face Olympiacos in Athens on Thursday.

They say that new signing Pablo Mari IS available for selection, earlier than anyone expected. He played 45 minutes against Chelsea U21s this week and has been passed fit already, wouldn’t be a surprise to see him start from the bench tho, especially given that we have another tough league game at home to Everton on Sunday.

Mesut Ozil and Lucas Torreira will both miss the game in Greece. Ozil for ‘family reasons’, his wife about to have a baby, and Torreira hasn’t travelled to the game due to illness, however the website says he could still travel if he improves tomorrow.

They also say that new signing Cedric Soares and Kieran Tierney should both be back in full training by the end of this month, which is amazing news for Arteta’s bid for a top four finish and possible silverware.

This just leaves Calum Chambers who is still a few months away after his ACL surgery on the injury he picked up against Chelsea over Christmas.
