Despite drinking a hell of lot of Estrella, eating quite a lot of paella and being generally, how you say, magic, it looks like Dani Ceballos could be heading back to his parent club Madrid.

According to reports coming out of Spain on the newswires today and last night, it seems the lack of Arsenal minutes could contribute to a lack of European Championships in the summer for the Spaniard.

After an excellent start with us Gunners his Arsenal career has stalled somewhat after injury issues and he’s struggled to get into Freddie Ljungberg and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal sides which is causing the Spaniard concern.

It’s thought that Ceballos is in crisis talks (are there any other kind?) with Real Madrid to end his spell at Arsenal before the end of January in the hope of getting some playing minutes somewhere else to boost his slim chance of a Euro 2020 appearance.

As soon as we hear anything, we will let you both know.
