Leicester Boss Brendan Rodgers has said he has no need to look elsewhere and is happy at Leicester despite rumours he is on the shortlist to take over at managerless Arsenal.

Rodgers has once again reiterated that he is happy at Leicester, who are incidentally flying right now and has no desire to replace the recently sacked Unai Emery.

Leicester are sat in second place in the Premier League after an astonishing six wins on the bounce, and Rodgers was quick to put scorn on the Arsenal rumours, via the AFP:

“I have a contract here until 2022 and thus far, and I know managers are losing their jobs, but the club haven’t indicated to me that they’re going to sack me, I think they’re pretty happy with how we’re working and I’m very happy, so I’ve no need to look elsewhere. Why would I want to leave Leicester City at this moment in time?”

Arsenal are currently languishing half way down (or up depending on how positive you are feeling) the table and have no Manager, so the lad Rodgers has a point to be fair.

What’s next for Arsenal, you have to wonder and who could come in on either a temporary or permanent basis? Surely something has to happen soon or we’re in danger of getting sucked even further down the table and possibly even into a relegation dogfight – watch this space reader(s)!
