After four draws in a row, second half goals from Jamie Vardy and James Maddison saw us fall to a defeat in the Premier League under the lights at a very wet and windy King Power Stadium.

The defeat now means its four games without a win for Emery’s men, and despite some positives before the two quick-fire Leicester goals, the outcome remained the same.

Lacazette and a few chances to put us ahead and despite Leicester’s heady status in the league we were matching them blow for blow in the early exchanges. In fact, it looked like we’d gone ahead in the first half when Aubameyang scored, only for his effort to be ruled (correctly) offside.

‘Highlights’ here:

My son and I had driven to the game, left at 1pm and didn’t get home until 11pm. I had to drive through floods and diversions to get to the game as the weather was awful, witness yet another defeat and drive all the way home again, soaking wet. Would be good to get some sort of reward one of these days with a win on the road please Unai!

Anyway, we now have two weeks off until we play Southampton at The Emirates, so fingers crossed Emery can turn things around and grab a rare win.
