We dropped yet more points after leading away at Vitoria in the Europa League on Thursday on a rainy night in Portugal.
Just as it looked like Mustafi’s header had the game won, Duarte scored a last minute equaliser to break the traveling Arsenal fans’ hearts.
With just ten minutes to go, and the game heading towards a goalless conclusion, Nicolas Pepe crossed for Mustafi to head home to put us 1-0 up but once again, we threw away the lead just as we did against Wolves last time out.
This is now our fourth draw on the bounce, but we still top our Europa League group, and somehow are still four points clear of the pack.
Emery had rung wholesale changes for the game, as is normal for our cup games, the most notable being the dropping of Granit Xhaka. Xhaka was stripped of the captaincy and dropped from the squad after angry scenes against Palace at the end of October where he clashed with the fans after being subbed off.

It’s since been announced that our new captain will be Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and it remains to be seen whether or not Xhaka will play for Arsenal again after the spat.
We now turn our attention back to the Premier League with a visit to Leicester this weekend, the game kicks off at 5:30pm but unfortunately, we’ll be without the impressive Ceballos after he twanged a hamstring late on in the game.
