Unai Emery’s Arsenal has now picked up just 2 points from our last 3 games as things go from bad to worse for our under-fire manager.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had put us 1-0 to the good but we surrendered yet another lead at The Emirates under Emery. Aubameyang was captain for the day as Xhaka was unceremoniously dropped and it was Auba’s 50th goal for Arsenal, so a day to remember for him, and another day to forget for the rest of us.
Somehow we are still 5th in the league and a win would have been more than welcome, but Raul Jimenez headed Joao Moutinho’s cross past Leno into the bottom corner ensuring we wouldn’t be picking up a rare three points.
In all fairness, Wolves were much the better side and deserved all three points from the game and we were lucky to escape with a point. Teams coming and outplaying us is something not many teams have done until recently at The Emirates, our home games were usually victories but now you arrive at the stadiumn expecting the very worst.
