There’s not too much more to say about this story, aside from the words in the headline, but Alexandre Lacazette is now out of action until October in a hammer blow for Unai Emery.
The Sun confirm that Lacazette is still struggling with an ankle injury and will miss a few weeks of action after picking up the injury in our defeat at Anfield back in August.
Joe Willock, Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira are all struggling for fitness adding to Unai Emery’s woes with Xhaka and Torreira both struggling for fitness after being subbed on international duty.
Upcoming Arsenal Fixtures
Our next few games are winnable, with an away trip to Watford this Sunday before a trip to Germany for Frankfurt in the Europa League.
Then we play Villa at home in the Premier League, then away to Forest in the League Cup. We then face a tricky visit to Old Trafford at the end of the month and it looks like we’ll have to do them all sans Lacazette.
