Despite having talks with Arsenal about a possible contract extension, L’Equipe are saying that Laurent Koscielny’s game against Chelsea next week could be his last in Arsenal colours.

Koscielny still has a year left on his current deal, but is said to be considering his future at the club, meaning the Europa League final in Baku next week could be his last game for us.

According to The Mirror, there are a few European sides interested in his services, with Rennes and AC Milan amongst the front runners, but they also claim that Bayer Leverkusen are very interested and currently at the front of the queue.

Also, there are more rumours today that Barcelona centre-back Samuel Umtiti could be on Unai Emery’s radar over the summer. With Barcelona looking likely to sign Ajax defender Matthijs De Ligt, this could mean Umtiti would be even further down the pecking order for Barca, so hopefully open to move on.

He is only just into a five year deal, so would command a hefty fee of around £50m which may be out of our price range, especially if we don’t win the Europa League and miss out on Champions League again next season.
