David Off-Spina?

David Ospina’s Dad reckons he could be keen on leaving Arsenal this summer. Ospina has only started 13 games during his loan spell at Napoli but wants to make the move a permanent one according to Papa Ospina via HITC:

“We are waiting for the conditions to be reached for the signing of Napoli from Arsenal. He is happy to play at Napoli and that’s what he wants. Even the club has sent positive signals. It gives us a lot of joy because even children are happy to live in a city like Naples…”

Napoli are thought to have the option to buy Ospina at the end of the season, and the shot-stopper could yet play against Arsenal in this season’s Europa League quarter final if he recovers from his recent head injury, and is granted permission to play.

Knock-Ratis Papastathopoul-Ouch

According to The Metro Sokratis is a doubt for Greece’s Euro 2020 qualifier with Liechtenstein this weekend with an ankle injury. He has picked up some swelling on a knock and didn’t train this week.

He remains with the squad and could yet play, but lets hope he gets himself fit and back for our home game against Newcastle on April 1st when we resume Premier League action again after the 11 month international break.

Rambo Also Missing…

Aaron Ramsey will miss Wales’ friendly against Trinidad and Tobago in Wrexham on Wednesday with a thigh injury. Ryan Giggs who knows a thing or two about missing Wales’ games through injury and lying to his country, the media and his brother said:

“Aaron has got a slight knock on his thigh so we’re monitoring the situation but he should be okay…”

Giroud Banned…

As reported by the BBC, Olivier Giroud has been banned from driving after being caught speeding for a fourth time since leaving Arsenal. He was caught driving his Bentley 10mph over the limit meaning the three points he got now means he has 12 points on his licence and he will serve a 6 month ban.

He was also fined around £750, and for a player earning over £6m a year, pretty sure this isn’t going to break the bank for the former Arsenal favourite.
