Arsenal.com announced today that we will take part in a for a training camp in Dubai at the end of the month.
We will play Al-Nasr Dubai SC on the 26th March, with a 6pm kick off local time, which is English for 2pm. The game will take place at the Al Maktoum Stadium, with full details on Arsenal.com including ticket information.
The game will be the culmination of some charity visits and a visit to see some of the Dubai hot shot, big cheese, big nob Princes after flying proper posh Super Gold Emperor Class on the Emirates and what not.
Following our game this week against Rennes in the Europa League we have over two weeks off until we play Newcastle United on Monday, April 1st.
Unai Emery is quoted on the club website, as saying:
“It will be great to get some warm weather training and break up the usual routine as we enter the final stage of the season. The facilities in Dubai are fantastic and it will be an honour to be part of the formal opening ceremony for the new stadium…”
The Al Maktoum Stadium was originally opened in 1981, has recently had a huge upgrade and now holds around 15,000 people.

The match will be a superb chance for our players to hone their skills further, and introduce Al Maktoum Stadium to the world…”
Nasr are three-time UAE champions and are captained by ex-Man City striker Alvaro Negredo.
