Our rich vein of form continued with a hard fought 2-0 win at The Emirates over Watford this weekend.

Our boys left it late, with our first goal coming with just ten minutes left as to started to feel like Watford might hold out for a draw with an own goal coming from an Iwobi cross which cannoned in off of Craig Cathcart for 1-0.

Ozil added our second just moments later, and a 2-0 win felt like the right result, especially given we weren’t given a penalty when Lacazette was tripped, the Frenchman almost too honest and staying on his feet.

It looks like Bernd Leno will get his chance now as Petr Cech pulled up with a hamstring tweak just before half time, the German replacing him and playing really well. He made a string of good saves to keep us in the game, commanded the area really well instilling confidence while Cech is injured!

We now look Europa-wards with a game at FC Qarabag on Spursday, and then its an away trip to Fulham before two weeks off before we face Leicester at The Emirates in 3 weeks time. We now find ourselves in 5th place in the league with some very winnable games coming up, things are looking up at Arsenal! Man United, Chelsea and Liverpool all dropped points this weekend and it feels like we are quietly moving up the table with minimal fuss, and this win makes it five in a row in the Premier League and seven unbeaten across all competitions.
