Czech Republic and Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has taken to the social media his reacts after the Gunners acted quickly and sealed an exciting new deal before the start of the World Cup.

The North London side performed woefully in the Premier League last term, conceding over 60 goals and since then the club have hired a new manager in Unai Emery after Arsene Wenger left following a brilliant 22-year stay in London.

Since joining, he’s already trying to improve the squad having signed Stephan Lichsteiner from Juventus and the media is alive with rumours of yet more players incoming.

The deal is Arsenal’s first signing in this summer window, the Swiss Captain joining on a free transfer after his contract expired with Serie A side, Juventus.

The 34-year-old’s arrival will no doubt bring stiff competition to Hector Bellerin on the right side of Arsenal’s defence and Petr Cech took to Twitter following the arrival of Lichsteiner and tweeted:
