Arsenal’s Yassin Fortune has officially made it known that he will be leaving The Emirates after a brilliant three year spell with Arsenal.

The 19-year-old fell out of favour with the Gunners after his struggle to get a foothold in London due to incessant injury woes. He signed for Arsenal back in 2015 alongside Jeff ‘the Jeff’ Reine-Adelaide.

The summer window when Arsenal bought the aforementioned duo was the infamous one when Petr Cech was the only first team player that manager Arsene Wenger signed, with no outfield players coming in.

Fortune made just 22 appearances for Arsenal U18s, U19s (UEFA) and U23s bagging only two goals and creating three assists.

He never made to the Arsenal first team, however, Fortune still looks like a player with some potential so let’s wish him all the best in his new club and a successful and injury free career.

Arsenal are scheduled to be play our last match of this season against Huddersfield on Sunday, so let’s hope for the best result and see the likes of Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla play on the pitch once again for Arsene Wenger’s last game in charge.
