The link between Arsenal and former Barcelona coach, Luis Enrique has intensified and it seems he could will be the next Arsenal manager. It’s thought that he has already started preparing for the job by identifying key areas which Arsenal need to strengthen.

The current situation at the club has urged Enrique to reportedly asked for a transfer budget of £200m to be made available in the next transfer window to help put the club in good position going forward according to The Sun.

Enrique is in a strong position to dictate what he wants as he is the most likely to take over from Wenger although nothing is sealed yet.

Wenger’s announcement a couple of weeks ago that he will be leaving at the end of the season has made the club speed up the search for a replacement.

Enrique is keen to revamp the squad, from the Goalkeeper to several defenders and midfielders, the Spaniard is keen on bringing new players to The Emirates over the summer.

The only department that might not be effected is the attacking line-up with the recent acquisitions of Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan who joined the club in January.

It is however unclear if Arsenal would be willing to stump up such a huge amount for a new coach, but given the poor season Arsenal have suffered its plain to see that Arsenal are going to invest heavily in a fresh new look squad if we are going to challenge for honours next season.
