Following our late demolition of Stoke this weekend we now turn our attention back to the cut and thrust of the Europa League which is coming to a head.

We face CSKA Moscow this Thursday at home, with an 8:05 KO, in the competition which represents our only chance of silverware this season. CSKA knocked out Lyon in the last round, so will not be an easy proposition for us, with several very good sides still left in the tournament it’s definitely not going to be a walk in the park.

We laboured to put AC Milan out in the last round, and for all of the odds on the quarter final games, go visit 888sport

The line-up remains a mystery after a strange team selection for the league game with Stoke on Sunday. There were a few players rested, in Koscielny, Kolasinac, Mkhitaryan and Lacazette, with Petr Cech out with a hamstring problem, so early team news is a tough one to call just yet.

CSKA are third in the Russian Premier League, just five points off the leaders Lokomotiv, and won against FC Rostov on Sunday.

The game is live on BT Sport, with a semi-final place in Europe’s Premier European Cup competition at stake.
