In yet another disastrous away day, we found ourselves on the wrong end of another defeat, this time 2-1 at the hands of Brighton.

The early signs were there, with no Monreal or Ramsey in the starting line up, and the game began in standard fashion, with us conceding an early goal after a Cech corner flap. All was not lost, it’s just 1-0, and we started to play some decen- ooops, there it is, that’s 2-0. Glenn Murray inexplicably being allowed to get in between our two best defenders to head down and past the hapless (again) Petr Cech. The keeper later apologised on Twitter, holding his hands up (for the first time that day) to the errors which cost us if the truth be told.

Aubameyang hit back just before the break after being teed up by Granit Xhaka, the Gaboan flicking home to make it 2-1, he must be wondering what he’s let himself in for.

The second half came and went, we hit the post, could have had a penalty, but sadly it was yet another one of those days as our slide down the table gathers pace.

Arsene Wenger must surely be clinging on to his job by the skin of his teeth after our fourth defeat in a row, but the club continues to keep the faith it seems, when it’s plain to see we need a change.

We now play AC Milan this week in the Europa League, whats the worst than can happen? Actually, don’t answer that.

Highlights are here should you wise to drag yourself through the hot coals and glass which was the Brighton game.
