BBC reporter David Ornstein confirmed this afternoon that Theo Walcott has completed his move to Everton after days of speculation.
The out of favour Arsenal forward has struggled to find his form this season at The Emirates and has joined Sam Allardyce’s side on a three and a half year deal.
In a tweet this afternoon, Ornstein reported:
Walcott signs a 3.5yr deal with Everton & leaves Arsenal 12 years to the month after joining from Southampton, finishing with 3 FA Cups & 108 goals in 397 apps. #EFC football/financial offer beat rivals + Walcott keen to work under Allardyce. #AFC plan to use funds to reinvest

Just to keep you spending your hard earned cash on Arsenal toilet rolls and splash mats, Ornstein added the encouraging words ‘Arsenal plan to use finds to reinvest’ at the end of his tweet for good measure, that’s exciting isn’t it – especially when Andy Carroll could be available!
Theo failed to win a league title with us, but did win three FA Cups more than Harry Kane and Dele Alli have won at Tottenham combined. Despite not starting a Premier League game this season, Theo will be fondly remembered as an all round nice guy, who scored an impressive 108 goals in 397 appearances for Arsenal, and we at ArsenalShorts towers, despite not being his biggest fans recently, would like to wish him well.
Good luck Theo!
