Arsene Wenger revealed the latest team news ahead of our visit to Bournemouth this weekend, and there are some glimmers of hope that the squad is finally getting back to it’s best.

He said that Aaron Ramsey is back in full training and that Jack Wilshere could still play in the game despite a foot injury picked up against Chelsea in the week, but Ozil remains a doubt, while Koscielny, Kolasinac and Monreal are all probably out until next weekend.

He said via The Mirror:

“Jack was injured on Wednesday, but we had good news. He’s walking properly and he’s not out yet of the game on Sunday, so that’s a positive. We’ll have Ramsey back in the squad, and there’s an uncertainty about Ozil, he’ll have a test tomorrow, that’s a bit 50/50. Koscielny next week, Kolasinac next – but he has a little, little chance to be available for Sunday, Monreal earliest next week as well…”

Mesut Ozil missed our draw with Chelsea in the week with a knee injury, and Wenger said:

“Ozil has a swollen knee, a recurrence of what he had two to three weeks ago, that’s why he wasn’t involved on Tuesday…”

The game is yet another must win for Arsene Wenger as the top teams and Spurs just keep on grinding our results and we face the real possibility of missing out on top four this season unless we can string some decent results together in our upcoming games. If you look at our next 6 they are all more than winnable, with Bournemouth this weekend away, then Palace at home, Swansea A, Everton H, Spurs A, then the big one, Man City at home. This will probably be rearranged due to the Haribo Cup final but this is our one shot to spoil the Man City Invincibles Mark II party seeing as it looks like no one else is going to do it for us.

Let’s get our season back on track, starting this weekend at Bournemouth, yes, we were 3-0 down in this fixture last season, but following a decent clean sheet in the week against Chelsea and with Ramsey back, let’s do this, our recovery starts here!
