Arsene Wenger confirmed this morning that Sead Kolasinac and Laurent Koscielny will both miss our game against Chelsea tomorrow night at The Emirates.

The game, which is a must-win for Arsenal could see us finish the night a whopping 10 points behind Chelsea and an even-more-whopping 24 points behind the leaders Manchester City, should (when) they win their game against Watford this evening (Tues).

Kolasinac and Koscielny both limped out of the draw with West Brom on New Years Eve, a game which we coulda, shoulda, woulda won if it wasn’t for the hapless cheat Mike Dean who awarded West Brom a penalty after the ball flicked up and hit Calum Chambers.

Mesut Ozil missed that game with a knee problem, and Arsene Wenger has said the German will have a fitness test ahead of the Chelsea game. Santi Cazorla is still out, while Nacho Monreal, Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey are all still missing after picking up a series of knocks over the Christmas period.

We are unbeaten since we lost to David de Gea at The Emirates, but most Arsenal fans will be disappointed in the four dropped points over Christmas, with the draws against Liverpool at home and West Brom+MD away.

This game could kick start a mini-revival or it could really turn the screw on under-fire Wenger if we fail to take all three points. We can also say goodbye to a top two finish as we prepare for another miserable league season should we lose to Chelsea.
