Aaron Ramsey and Shkodran Mustafi will both be missing for our game art West Ham this Wednesday night as we look to return to winning ways after dropping two points at Southampton this weekend.

Mustafi missed the game at St. Mary’s while Mustafi didn’t feature at all, and it seems they will both sit out of the game leaving Wenger to shuffle his pack.

Ramsey has a hamstring injury and Mustafi has a thigh problem, something he picked up during our disappointing De-Gea-t against Manchester United.

Arsene Wenger confirmed that Mustafi will remain out for a while longer, joining our only other absentee Santi Cazorla on the sidelines but the German will be back for Newcastle at the weekend:

“[He will be out] a little bit longer. He’s out in training, running. The medical staff have decided that he’s not completely ready. Will he be ready for Saturday against Newcastle? Yes…”

On Ramsey’s injury, Wenger confirmed it’s nothing serious on Arsenal.com:

“It’s a hamstring injury, but normally a short period. It’s not a big one…”

It remains to be seen whether Wenger bows to fan pressure and gives Jack Wilshere his first Premier League start or whether he remains true to form and selects Francis Coquelin.
