We continued our excellent league form with another win, this time against Huddersfield Town at the Emirates this week.
We ran out 5-0 winners thanks to two goals from Oli G, and one a piece from Lacazette, Ozil and Alexis, Oli G’s team goal and finish being the pick of the bunch.
We went in front on just 4 minutes after Aaron Ramsey’s sublime flick into Lacazette’s path and we struggled to get a second and were lucky not to concede before half time.
Then on 68 minutes, the floodgates opened and Giroud, Sanchez and Ozil scored three goals in five scintillating minutes to finish the game before Oli G scored again late on to complete the rout.
It wasn’t as one sided as it sounded tho, we had to rely on some more resolute defending at the back to stop the equaliser, and Petr Cech once again made some great saves, especially in the first half.
Again, it was our attacking players who drew the plaudits, with Ramsey and Ozil, the pick of the bunch and the result now leaves us just 4 points off of Man United who we play this weekend. As things stand though, the team news isn’t great with doubts already over Lacazette and Alexis Sanchez (hamstring and groin respectively).
