Alexandre Lacazette is OUT of our game with Jose Mourinho’s men on Saturday evening after picking up a groin injury against Huddersfield last night. We ran out convincing 5-0 winners at The Emirates, despite Match of the Day’s best efforts to imply we were lucky to win the game. Goals from Alexandre Lacazette, Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud (2) and Mesut Ozil saw us run out easy winners and pile the pressure on the other clubs around us in the league, we are commanding some good odds at the moment after our recent performances in the league, so it would make sense to check out the latest sports betting online.
It now seems as though Alexis Sanchez is also a doubt for the game after he was subbed with a hamstring injury last night, but Arsene Wenger has said ‘he should be ok’. WE should find out a bit more along with the rest of the team news this morning at the Press Conference ahead of the United game
Sanchez was replaced by Danny Welbeck, a possible replacement for Lacazette for Saturday’s game, and Wenger said in The Daily Mirror:
“Sanchez had a little hamstring problem – that’s why I took him off but I think he will be alright. Look, we have offensive weapons, you know. We have Danny Welbeck, we have Giroud, we have Jack Wilshere who all came on. They are all offensive players…”
We are currently 4 points behind United, and 5 ahead of Spurs, so another win at The Emirates is vital if we are going to keep the pressure up on the two moneybag Manchester clubs.
We also go into December with some challenging, yet winnable games, coming up we have United at home this weekend, the Southampton and West Ham, before taking on Newcastle and Liverpool before Christmas. We then travel to Palace and West Brom before the end of the year, so we could go on a real run with those games, just have to hope everyone stays fit.
