Arsenal might still be willing to sell Alexis Sanchez in January according to former Arsenal striker and Sky Sports pundit, Charlie Nicholas via The Daily Express.
According to Nicholas, the club might consider selling Sanchez if a huge bid is received, despite Arsene Wenger’s claims this week that Sanchez or Ozil won’t be sold this season.
The failure of the two to extend their current deals could mean that they will leave for free at the end of the season but Charlie Nicholas believes that Wenger’s comments on the official Arsenal site about them not leaving in January could be less than water tight.
‘Champagne’ Charlie Nicholas said:
“I think you believe him [Wenger] in principle but you don’t know. If PSG or Real Madrid or somebody’s going to come in and make a bid for Alexis Sanchez, you have to listen to the money…”
Both Sanchez and Ozil were on the scoresheet as we thrashed Huddersfield Town 5-0 at The Emirates leaving most Arsenal fans wishing they would both stay at Arsenal, both players instrumental in the victory.
Both have been nothing short of brilliant during their years at the club, Ozil has turned out to be one of the best midfielders ever to grace the Premier League, while Sanchez has managed to bag almost 60 goals in just over 110 Premier League appearances.
