The line ups for this evening’s game against Huddersfield at The Emirates has been announced. Theo Walcott doesn’t make the squad, despite returning from illness, while it appears Mesut Ozil has recovered from his mystery illness which kept him out of the Burnley win.
Everyone else who played at Burnley plays, with Ozil’s replacement dropping to the bench, the Nigerian is also thought to be carrying a dead leg – bit silly, he could put it down, much easier than all that carrying. Welbeck and Wilshere make the bench along with the best looking Frenchman in the place Olivier Giroud, all three having featured in last week’s defeat at FC Koln in the Europa League.
Arsenal:
Cech, Koscielny, Mustafi, Monreal, Ramsey, Xhaka, Bellerin, Kolasinac, Ozil, Alexis, Lacazette
Subs:
Ospina, Mertesacker, Coquelin, Wilshere, Iwobi, Welbeck, Giroud
Huddersfield:
Find it yourself.
Arsene Wenger will have one eye on Saturday evening’s clash with Manchester United, so Alexis and Ozil may not finish the game, depending on how it goes and which Arsenal turns up. All we can hope is it’s the warriors who put Tottenham to the sword, and not the eejits who lost to Watford the other week.
