Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Mesut Ozil is OUT of our game next week against Huddersfield Town at The Emirates.
Ozil sat out of our win against Burnley this afternoon due to illness despite travelling with the squad and being at the hotel before the game. We somehow managed to snatch all three points thanks to a last minute Alexis Sanchez spot kick, this means the last three times we have played Burnley, we have beaten them with an injury time goal.
Wenger denies Ozil to Barcelona rumours
Wenger said as quoted in the Metro.
“I haven’t seven seen him (Ozil), the doctor came to see me and said he had to travel back home, he was in the hotel with us. Certainly he will be short for Wednesday…”
Le Boss will be hoping for an improved performance at The Emirates on Wednesday night where we face Huddersfield as we bid to keep our good league run going.
