According to the Daily Mail, Arsene Wenger is keen to go back in for French superstar Thomas Lemar in January.

We failed with a bid to land the player at the end of the last transfer window due to a very late bid from Manchester City for Alexis Sanchez, Lemar was thought to be his replacement. There wasn’t enough time to complete either deal so they both fell through, but they claim we’ll be back in for the player in the next transfer window.

It’s thought that we offered around £90m but any new bid will be lower than the August amount due to the player being out of form. Monaco have already crashed out of the Champions League and didn’t even make the Europa League (Europe’s premier cup competition), so a move could be considered by the French side despite him having two and a half years left on his current deal.

Arsene Wenger has denied Mesut Ozil could be moving to Barcelona this week, but Ozil, Sanchez and Jack Wilshere could leave the club in January as none of them look to be anywhere close to signing a new deal at Arsenal at the moment.

On the pitch, we prepare to face Burnley this afternoon at Turf Moor, where we can make up some further ground on the sides above us, with Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea all dropping points yesterday.

Come on ARSENAL!
