After a resounding victory in last weekend’s North London Derby against Tottenham, Arsenal will be hoping to build on that as we travel to Turf Moor this weekend. With almost every member of the squad available for the match, Arsene Wenger will be putting out his best line up for the tricky Premier League encounter which kicks off at 2pm UK time on Sunday.

Goalkeeper:

Petr Cech is the undisputed first choice going into this encounter except any last minute injury to the veteran goalkeeper, Cech kept a sparkling clean sheet last weekend against Spurs and will be hoping for a repeat of that this weekend.

Defenders:

The back three that started against Tottenham is likely to be remain in place, Mustafi, Koscielny and Monreal have formed a resounding partnership at the back. In fact in the four league games they have all started together, Arsenal have not conceded a single goal, this is the strength of their partnership and Arsene Wenger’s first team choice when everyone is fit.

Midfielders:

The form of Hector Bellerin and Saed Kolasinac at wing back have been outstanding so far in the league and they are expected to keep their place in the starting XI. Xhaka and Ramsey did a very good job against Spurs to shield Christian Eriksen and but Wenger could shuffle his pack and give Jack Wilshere a rare start after another impressive display in the Europa League in the week. Santi Cazorla remains our only long term absentee now, with the return of Welbeck, Chambers and Ospina this week, however Theo Walcott won’t make the game either as he’s been ill Arsene Wenger confirmed yesterday.

Mesut Ozil’s man of the match performance last weekend will still be fresh in the manager’s mind and he’ll be hoping for a repeat against Burnley.

Attackers:

Danny Welbeck is another player Wenger might want to use this weekend after his return against Cologne. However, Alexis Sanchez remains the most likely to partner Alexandre Lacazette up front and between them, they should be able to provide the goals that will give Arsenal three points at Turf Moor despite Burnley’s amazing home form this season.
