After the arrival of former Borussia Dortmund chief scout, Sven Mislintat this week, Arsenal are about to make another big announcement in Barcelona’s former Director of Football, Raul Sanllenhi.

The news at the moment seems to be that following Mislintat’s appointment, more of the Arsenal backroom will be undergoing a reshuffle and the announcement of Sanllenhi, according to multiple sources is imminent.

Goal is also reporting that Sanllenhi will be taking the Director of Football role at The Emirates, the same as the role he held while at Barcelona. Arsenal’s current Director of Football, Dick Law was expected to leave the club in September for family/personal reasons according to Sky Sports.

The incoming Arsenal Director of Football was credited for masterminding the Neymar deal to Barcelona and he will be joining Sven Mislintat and hopefully Michael Zorc could also be joining the club soon.

The recent appointments at the club along with the likes of Jens Lehmann and Huss Fahmy joining the club are being seen as part of the transition process in the eventual departure of Arsene Wenger, who still has a year and a half to run on his current contract but it seems the club are getting everything in place for his eventual departure.
