It’s Thursday, it can only mean one thing – that it’s time to pretend that we like being in the Europa League again!
Having already qualified from our group, we can cement our top spot with a point tonight in Germany as Arsene Wenger takes the usual mixture of youxperience to try and finish in top spot of Group H.
It looks like Theo Walcott may miss out having been out ill and missing the North London derby at the weekend, which, in case you missed it, finished 2-0. To us. Of course.
Wenger said:
“We have an experienced team. Overall I believe that you will see that every single player has big experience in the Premier League and we have brought some players as well who have played in former games and done extremely well like Joe Willock, Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson and overall I believe we have a good mixture between experience and young players…”
It’s yet to be seen who will play in the game, but it’s looking unlikely Olivier Giroud will feature, while Danny Welbeck looks to be back in contention for the game after missing a few weeks through injury. I have a funny feeling that Eddie Nketiah could play up front, and some more of the youngsters could also feature.
Remember reader(s) that the game is an early kick off tonight, 6pm in the UK, and it’s liiiiive on BT Sport.
