Arsenal announced the appointment of former Borussia Dortmund chief scout, Sven Mislintat yesterday and he will be taking the role of Chief Scout at The Emirates.

The announcement was followed by several reports that his appointment could trigger a massive influx of players moving to Arsenal from Europe. He is known to be one of the best scouts in the world at the moment and he is expected to working full time for Arsenal by the summer and some of the players that could follow him to The Emirates are highlighted below.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: The Gabonese international is a player that was brought to Dortmund by Mislintat and has had a good time at the club, however the player has been rumoured to be looking to leave Dortmund since last summer but a deal did not materialise.

Aubameyang was recently dropped from the Dortmund squad for last weekend’s game and has had lot of issues with the club in recent times. He is a player Wenger has long admired and tried in the past to bring to Arsenal but with the arrival of Mislintat he could finally be on his way to The Emirates.

Christian Pulisic: One of the most talked about youngsters in world football is the young American, Pulisic has been enjoying life at Dortmund but a chance to play in the Premier League might prove tempting.

With Dortmund slipping behind Bayern Munich in the league in Germany, the ace has already been linked with a move away from Dortmund and a chance for a bigger challenge at a club like Arsenal could be enough to take him to Arsenal. Mislintat was influential in bringing the American to Dortmund and could also help lure him to The Emirates.

Julian Draxler: He is not no stranger to being linked with a move to Arsenal and the arrival of Mislintat might just be the last piece of the puzzle Arsenal need to land the young PSG player.
