Liverpool’s new signing from Arsenal, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has seen life under two of the top Premier League managers and knows what its like to play under both coaches. Oxlade-Chamberlain joined the Reds on last day of the transfer window last summer for the ‘bargain’ price of £35m and he has yet to make a real impact at Anfield.

Oxlade-Chamberlain believes that he can still make a difference at Liverpool and while talking about life at Liverpool, he reflected on life at Arsenal and Wenger’s style of play which is more possession football:

“Arsene (Wenger) is a great manager and he’s proved that for many years. His philosophy and style of play is based on the ‘Arsenal way’ of playing, with his passing game…”

He also spoke about Klopp’s demanding regime:

“Jurgen Klopp is very demanding and he makes it clear to us our roles and responsibilities, and the intensity that he wants out of us…”

Now that the 24-year-old has acclimatised himself with the system at Anfield, he believes the club will fill his presence in the coming months:

“I have learnt a lot and I feel like I’ve adapted well to the requirements of the manager, the coaches and the boys as well…” he said as quoted by Sky Sports.

Oxlade-Chamberlain spent 6 years at Emirates after joining from Southampton making 198 appearances scoring just 20 goals in the process. His aim is now to be able to make it into the England World Cup team heading to Russia 2018 so he will be hoping for the chance to prove himself at Anfield.
