Plenty of rumours about this week that we would be interested in signing Lyon’s man of the moment Nabil Fekir as a replacement for Ozil and/or Sanchez.

However, our interest could be short lived as the Lyon President has said on SFR Sport in France that they want to keep him and that he won’t be sold and especially not in January.

There was talk that Barcelona were also interested in the player who has 11 goals in 11 games for Lyon already this season and the player’s father also said Fekir was keen to move to England, with Arsenal his only destination.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has said this week:

“Will Fekir be at the club after the winter transfer window? Of course and nothing says that he will leave at the end of the season either. He is under contract until 2020…”

Best get used to these rumours for the next 9 months as we look to replace two of ours star players who could inexplicably leave for nothing.

Arsenal to move for Ancelotti?
