Bayern Munich are now being linked with a move for everyone’s favourite, good looking Frenchman Olivier Giroud, the handsome striker was set to join Everton in the summer but he did a last minute u-turn and returned to Arsenal.

Giroud will miss this weekend’s must win clash with our old foes, and somewhat noisy neighbours Tottenham. A game Arsenal simply have to win to stay in touch with the top sides (and Spurs), take a look at all of the latest Premier League betting odds here.

Lewandowski also finds himself on the treatment table having picked up a thigh injury and wants a backup striker to come and take the pressure of of him in Munich and speaking to Bild, he said:

“It would definitely be an option to sign a hungry, young striker who wants to learn from an experienced player. Of course, the club hierarchy will decide which striker is worth considering, but clearly we aren’t talking about a top international striker. Forwards of this calibre want to be on the pitch themselves during the season’s decisive games…”

Bild then turn their attention to Giroud in a second article, saying he is ‘no longer a talent’ which is a bit harsh on the Frenchman it has to be said, given his effectiveness this season as an impact sub.

Following the arrival of his French team mate Lacazette this season, Giroud has regularly been coming off the bench and has scored some great and important goals for Arsenal but his lack of first team playing time could still be a factor and the Frenchman could consider a move soon, and where better than Bayern Munich?
