Barcelona have apparently given us the green light to land Arda Turan, the Turkish international is surplus to requirements at Barcelona and coupled with his injury worries, Barcelona are ready to part company with him.

Turan was expected to leave last summer but no one was interested in taking him on a permanent deal and Turan, 30, is yet to make a start for Barcelona this season.

His current contract runs till 2020 meaning that Barcelona will have to find a way to let him go cheaply in order to free up his wages from their books.  Turan is linked to Arsenal every summer and will hope that a deal could finally be agreed in order to get back to first team action as soon as possible.

Reports from The Metro are saying that Barcelona are willing to listen to cut price offers if Arsenal were to make a bid for the former Atletico Madrid midfielder, this would allow the Catalonian club to be able to go all out for Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling who they still want to join them in the next transfer window.

Turan’s recent performances haven’t been great since he arrived at the Camp Nou Stadium netting just 5 goals in 36 appearance but he was always a hero at Atletico Madrid after an amazingfour seasons with the La Liga side.
