Arsenal travel to The Etihad Stadium on Sunday a whopping nine points behind the leaders and Arsene Wenger will be hoping to stop Pep Guardiola’s unbeaten run and finish off their invincibles attempt. With Arsenal hoping to challenge for the league ourselves, everyone will need to be on top of their game.

Goalkeeper:

Petr Cech was on the bench in the Europa league against Red star Belgrade but he’s expected to start on Sunday, he will be hoping to be keeping a clean sheet despite the embarrassment of riches which is the City attack.

Defenders:

Shkodran Mustafi is still expected to be out for this encounter while Sead Kolasinac remains a doubt for the game after being substituted in the win against Swansea and not included in the squad for the Europa league match.

Laurent Koscielny, Per Mertesacker and Rob Holding should hold things down in the heart of defence, a worry for most Arsenal fans against such a quick and potent attack.

Midfielders:

With the injury to Kolasinac, if he does miss the game, Nacho Monreal and Bellerin will be in the wing back positions. The form of Aaron Ramsey and the way he combines with Xhaka on the middle of the park make them first choice option in this encounter.

Unlikely, but Arsene Wenger could give Jack Wilshere his first start of the Premier League season and dropping Mesut Ozil could be an option, his form against the bigger sides a huge worry.

Attackers:

Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette are first choice up front and will give the Man City defence a massive headache.
